The EMM Labs MTRS is a reference stereo power amplifier engineered to deliver extraordinary current, control and transparency from a single chassis. Drawing directly from the technology developed for the flagship MTRX and MTRX2 amplifiers, the MTRS delivers 330 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms, with 400 watts of dynamic power.

At its core is Ed Meitner's redesigned high-current Meitner Power Driver, operating without overall feedback. The MTRS is engineered to remain completely stable with difficult loudspeaker loads, including impedances down to 1 ohm, making it exceptionally capable with demanding reference loudspeakers.

Reference-Level Amplification

The MTRS uses fully discrete circuitry and fully balanced signal paths, custom ceramic circuit boards and a proprietary power system developed by EMM Labs. Real-time protection circuitry continuously safeguards both the amplifier and connected loudspeakers without compromising its high-performance design.

With a frequency response extending from 0.1Hz to 200kHz at full rated power, greater than 120dB signal-to-noise ratio and extremely low distortion, the MTRS is designed to combine massive power delivery with the speed and resolution expected from EMM Labs.
