Denon HEOS Super Link | 4-Zone Network Multi-Room Preamplifier

The Denon HEOS Super Link is a four-zone networked music streaming preamplifier designed to bring whole-home audio to existing stereo systems and multichannel power amplifiers. Combining four independent HEOS streaming zones in a compact, rack-mountable chassis, it offers a practical solution for custom-installed distributed audio systems without requiring separate music streamers for every room.

Each zone features dedicated analog, optical and coaxial digital outputs, allowing connection to external amplifiers, AV receivers and other compatible audio equipment. The HEOS app provides independent control of music in each room or synchronized playback across multiple zones.

Designed for professional installation, the Super Link includes four 12V trigger outputs, dual Ethernet connections, source matrix switching and third-party control integration. Its slim 1U chassis fits neatly into a standard equipment rack, making it suitable for residential audio distribution and integrated smart home systems.

The HEOS Super Link also supports high-resolution audio playback, including FLAC, ALAC and WAV files up to 24-bit/192 kHz, along with DSD 2.8 MHz and 5.6 MHz. Selectable high-pass and low-pass filters provide additional flexibility when integrating external amplifiers and powered subwoofers.

Whole-Home Audio and System Integration

The HEOS Super Link is designed for installations where amplification is already available or where separate power amplifiers are preferred. Unlike the HEOS Drive, it does not contain built-in speaker amplification. Instead, it supplies four independently controlled audio zones to external amplifiers or compatible AV receivers.

Each zone can be configured for stereo or mixed-mono playback, while its analog preamplifier output can be configured for a powered subwoofer. Four 12V trigger connections provide automated power control for compatible external equipment.

For custom integrators, the rack-mount chassis, wired network connectivity and third-party control capabilities make the Super Link suitable for centrally located equipment racks serving multiple rooms.
