That provides enough built-in amplification to create a 5.4.4 Dolby Atmos theater with five ear-level speakers, four powered subwoofers, and four overhead speakers.

Prefer additional surround coverage? Configure a 7.4.2 system instead.

With 11.4-channel processing and preamplifier outputs, the AVR-X4800H also allows you to add an external two-channel power amplifier and expand to a 7.4.4 configuration.
