The DALI EPIKORE 11 brings technology developed for the flagship DALI KORE to a four-and-a-half-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed for reference two-channel audio systems. Four 8-inch woofers, a dedicated 6.5-inch Clarity Cone midrange driver, and DALI's EVO-K Hybrid Tweeter combine to deliver deep bass, exceptional dynamic capability, and extended high-frequency reproduction.

Developed and manufactured in Denmark, the EPIKORE 11 incorporates second-generation Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC Gen-2) technology in its bass and midrange drivers, as well as its crossover inductors. These low-loss components are engineered to reduce distortion and preserve musical detail across a wide dynamic range.

With a frequency response of 29Hz–34kHz, a maximum output of 116dB, and a recommended amplifier power range of 40–1,000 watts, the EPIKORE 11 is designed for substantial listening spaces and ambitious high-end stereo systems.

Four 8-Inch Woofers with SMC Gen-2 Technology

The EPIKORE 11 uses four 8-inch bass drivers to reproduce the scale and dynamic impact of demanding musical recordings. Their combined radiating area provides substantial low-frequency displacement, while the multi-driver configuration allows the speaker to manage bass output without relying on a single oversized woofer.

Each driver incorporates DALI's second-generation Soft Magnetic Compound technology, originally introduced in the KORE. SMC Gen-2 is engineered to reduce eddy currents, magnetic hysteresis, and other sources of distortion within the motor system.

The woofers use DALI's signature paper and wood-fibre diaphragms, combining low mass with controlled stiffness and damping. The material's irregular fibre structure helps distribute unwanted resonances rather than concentrating them at narrow frequencies.

Together, these technologies are intended to deliver controlled, articulate bass with the dynamic headroom needed for large-scale orchestral music, electronic recordings, and demanding percussion.

Dedicated 6.5-Inch Clarity Cone Midrange

The EPIKORE 11 features a dedicated 6.5-inch midrange driver developed from the driver architecture used in the DALI EPICON 8.

Its Clarity Cone diaphragm incorporates a distinctive geometric pattern into DALI's paper and wood-fibre cone material. This construction is designed to control diaphragm resonances and reduce unwanted breakup while preserving the driver's ability to reproduce subtle musical information.

An SMC Gen-2 magnet system further reduces distortion and mechanical losses, allowing the midrange to reproduce vocals, acoustic instruments, and complex musical passages without competing with the large bass drivers.

Separating the midrange from the four woofers also allows the EPIKORE 11 to maintain clarity and tonal consistency as playback levels increase.

EVO-K Hybrid Tweeter

Developed from the high-frequency technology introduced in the DALI KORE, the EVO-K Hybrid Tweeter combines a 35mm soft dome with a 10 × 55mm planar magnetostatic tweeter.

The oversized soft dome handles the lower portion of the high-frequency range, while the planar element extends the speaker's upper-frequency response. Both drivers incorporate powerful neodymium magnet systems.

This hybrid arrangement is designed to maintain wide horizontal dispersion, extended treble response, and smooth integration with the dedicated midrange driver.

DALI's wide-dispersion approach also reduces the need for aggressive speaker toe-in, allowing the EPIKORE 11 to maintain a consistent tonal presentation across a broader listening area.

Advanced 4½-Way Crossover with SMC-KORE Inductors

The EPIKORE 11 uses a sophisticated 4½-way crossover network with crossover frequencies at 170Hz, 370Hz, 3.1kHz, and 12.5kHz.

The network incorporates SMC-based inductors developed from DALI KORE technology. By using Soft Magnetic Compound in the inductor cores, DALI aims to reduce distortion associated with conventional magnetic materials.

The crossover distributes the audio signal across the four woofers, dedicated midrange driver, soft dome tweeter, and planar element. Its carefully selected crossover points help maintain smooth driver integration while preserving the speaker's wide-dispersion characteristics.

This architecture gives the EPIKORE 11 the ability to reproduce substantial low-frequency energy while allowing its midrange and high-frequency drivers to operate within their intended frequency ranges.

Danish Cabinet Construction and Premium Finishes

The EPIKORE 11's substantial cabinet is designed to provide a rigid, low-resonance foundation for its seven drivers.

Its curved enclosure combines laminated construction, extensive internal reinforcement, and a carefully engineered internal structure to reduce cabinet vibration and unwanted coloration. The cabinet's shape also helps manage internal standing waves while giving the speaker its distinctive sculpted appearance.

Real wood veneers and multi-layer piano-lacquer finishes reflect DALI's emphasis on craftsmanship. Available finishes include High-Gloss Black, High-Gloss Walnut, and High-Gloss Maroon.

Designed, developed, and manufactured in Denmark, the EPIKORE 11 combines traditional cabinetmaking with the advanced acoustic technologies developed for DALI's reference loudspeakers.
