Marten Coltrane Supreme 2 Loudspeakers

The Marten Coltrane Supreme 2 is a no-compromise reference loudspeaker created to reproduce music with extraordinary scale, transparency, dynamics, and realism. Built around Marten's most advanced technologies, the Supreme 2 combines diamond and ceramic Accuton Cell drivers, seven active bass drivers, six rear passive radiators, a first-order crossover, Jorma Statement wiring, and massive carbon-fiber construction.

Standing nearly 79 inches tall and weighing 600 pounds each, the Coltrane Supreme 2 is a true statement loudspeaker designed for reference-level systems and dedicated listening environments.

Diamond, Ceramic and Cell Technology

The Supreme 2 uses an extraordinary driver array.

High frequencies are handled by 0.75-inch and 2-inch diamond drivers, providing exceptional stiffness, speed, resolution, and extremely low distortion.

A 5-inch ceramic driver handles the critical midrange, while an array of seven 8-inch aluminum-sandwich Cell bass drivers delivers tremendous low-frequency authority and control.

On the rear of the cabinet, six 10-inch passive sandwich radiators complement the active bass system.

The result is a published frequency response extending from an incredible 18 Hz to 100,000 Hz ±2 dB.

First-Order Crossover

At the heart of the Supreme 2 is Marten's carefully developed first-order crossover.

Designed specifically around the Accuton Cell drivers, the crossover is engineered to maintain exceptional time and phase coherence across the loudspeaker's entire frequency range.

Premium components include copper-foil air-core coils, silver/copper foil capacitors, silver foil capacitors, custom-made resistors, and Jorma internal cabling.

Reference-Level Construction

The Coltrane Supreme 2 cabinet is built on an equally extreme scale.

Its structure uses 25mm carbon-fiber laminate sides with 70mm solid laminated wood front, rear, top, and bottom sections, creating an exceptionally rigid and inert enclosure.

Internal wiring is Jorma Statement, handmade in Sweden and selected specifically for Marten's Supreme loudspeakers.

Polished stainless-steel supports incorporate Marten Isolators developed with IsoAcoustics, helping mechanically isolate the massive cabinet from the floor and reduce unwanted resonance.
