Statement Edition

The defining difference is inside the loudspeaker.

The Momento 2 Statement Edition upgrades the standard Jorma internal cabling to Jorma Statement, handmade in Sweden, and incorporates higher-quality crossover components.

These upgrades further refine the signal path between the amplifier, crossover, and drivers, extracting even greater performance from the Momento 2 platform.

Dual Pure Diamond Drivers

The Momento 2 Statement Edition uses two pure diamond drivers for the upper frequencies.

A 0.75-inch pure diamond driver is paired with a larger 2-inch pure diamond driver, taking advantage of diamond's exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio, speed, and thermal properties.

The result is extraordinary high-frequency resolution, transient response, and clarity without introducing artificial brightness or hardness.

Ceramic Midrange & Six-Driver Bass Array

A 7-inch ceramic driver handles the critical midrange, combining low mass, extreme rigidity, and high internal damping for exceptional clarity and low distortion.

Low frequencies are produced by six 8-inch aluminum-sandwich bass drivers, supported by four rear-mounted 10-inch passive aluminum-sandwich radiators.

This extensive bass system allows the Momento 2 Statement Edition to reach all the way down to 20 Hz with tremendous power, control, and dynamic capability.

First-Order Statement Crossover

The Momento 2 uses the bespoke crossover technology developed for the Coltrane Supreme 2.

Marten's first-order crossover is designed for exceptional time and phase coherence, allowing the individual drivers to integrate into a unified presentation.

In the Statement Edition, Marten takes this architecture further with higher-quality crossover components and Jorma Statement internal wiring.

Carbon-Fiber Construction

The cabinet uses 25mm carbon-fiber laminate sides combined with massive 70mm solid laminated wood front, rear, top, and bottom sections.

This extremely rigid construction minimizes unwanted cabinet resonance and provides a stable platform for the Momento 2's extensive driver array.

Polished stainless-steel supports incorporate Marten Isolators developed with IsoAcoustics, mechanically isolating the 467-pound loudspeaker from the floor and further reducing unwanted resonance.
