Clarus Crimson MKII Source Power Cable

The Clarus Crimson MKII Source Power Cable is engineered specifically for sensitive line-level components including DACs, streamers, CD players, media servers, processors and preamplifiers. Its 12 AWG Pure Continuous Cast Copper (PCCC) architecture and triple shielding are designed to deliver clean AC power while minimizing RF and EMI contamination. Clarus Audiophile Collection
PCCC Multi-Gauge Construction
Crimson uses multiple heavy-gauge solid conductors plus multiple enamel-coated conductors rather than a conventional single-gauge design. Clarus' multi-stage alternating twist architecture is designed to minimize magnetic-field interaction while time-aligning frequency propagation through the cable. Clarus Audiophile Collection
Triple Shielding
Because source components operate with low-level audio signals, noise rejection is critical. The Crimson Source Power Cable uses three shielding layers to reduce RF and EMI noise originating from the surrounding electrical environment. Clarus Audiophile Collection
MKII High-Retention Connectors
Crimson MKII uses 5-15P to IEC C15 connectors with Clarus' proprietary high-retention "click" design. The contacts are manufactured from C1100 pure copper rated at 101% IACS conductivity, then gold plated to resist oxidation.
