Clarus Aqua MKII Balanced XLR Interconnect Cable

High-End Balanced Analog Interconnect • PCCC Conductors • Triple-Balanced Geometry • Frequency-Optimized Conductors • Tellurium Copper XLR Connectors

The Clarus Aqua MKII Balanced XLR Cable is a high-performance analog interconnect engineered to preserve low-level musical information between balanced audio components. Aqua uses Clarus' Pure Continuous Cast Copper (PCCC) conductors with a triple-balanced geometry, providing dedicated conductors for positive signal, negative signal and ground. Clarus Audiophile Collection

Frequency-Optimized Conductor Geometry

Rather than using identical conductors throughout, Clarus engineers separate conductor geometries for different portions of the audio spectrum. Heavy-gauge round conductors handle low frequencies, flat conductors optimize the midrange, and ultra-thin ribbon conductors provide the path for high frequencies. Clarus Audiophile Collection

Pure Continuous Cast Copper

Aqua uses PCCC copper, produced to create long, highly pure single-crystal copper structures with minimal crystal boundaries, low electrical resistance and strong corrosion resistance. Each conductor type is individually insulated to reduce interaction between conductors. Clarus Audiophile Collection

Advanced Shielding

The three balanced conductors are twisted together and protected by aluminum/Mylar shielding and a heavy copper-braided shield. The shield is connected at the source end to provide a path for induced noise to ground while protecting the balanced audio signal. Clarus Audiophile Collection

Clarus MKII XLR Connectors

Aqua MKII is hand-terminated in Orlando, Florida with Clarus' upgraded XLR connectors. The design combines tellurium copper male contacts with beryllium copper female contacts for high conductivity, low resistance and secure contact. Hollow male pins are engineered to reduce eddy currents, while the ground pin makes contact before the signal pins. Clarus Audiophile Collection
