Clarus Aqua MKII Speaker Jumper Cables
Pure Continuous Cast Copper • Multi-Gauge Conductor Geometry • Individually Insulated Conductors • Spring Tension BFA Banana or Spade Connectors • Sold as a Set of Two
The Clarus Aqua MKII Speaker Jumper Cables are high-performance audiophile jumpers designed to replace the factory-installed metal bridging plates found on loudspeakers with dual binding posts. Engineered using Pure Continuous Cast Copper (PCCC) and Clarus's proprietary multi-gauge conductor geometry, Aqua MKII jumpers provide a carefully constructed signal path between a speaker's high-frequency and low-frequency terminals.
Designed for high-end loudspeakers using conventional single-wire speaker cables, Aqua MKII jumpers incorporate individually insulated conductors and precision-engineered Spring Tension connectors for secure, low-resistance connections.
Pure Continuous Cast Copper Conductors
Clarus Aqua MKII uses Pure Continuous Cast Copper (PCCC), manufactured through a specialized casting process that produces extended lengths of single-crystal copper with minimal grain boundaries.
This conductor material is selected for its high electrical conductivity, low resistance and consistent structural properties.
Proprietary Multi-Gauge Conductor Geometry
Rather than relying on a conventional single-gauge conductor, Clarus employs three distinct conductor geometries engineered around the different electrical characteristics of bass, midrange and high-frequency signals.
The Aqua MKII jumper design follows the same fundamental conductor topology used in Clarus Aqua speaker cables, maintaining consistency between the main speaker cable and the connection bridging the loudspeaker's binding posts.
Each conductor is independently insulated to minimize interaction between adjacent conductor elements.
MKII Spring Tension Connectors
Clarus Aqua MKII speaker jumpers feature precision connectors manufactured from military-grade beryllium copper, selected for its conductivity and mechanical resilience.
Available termination configurations include:
-
BFA Banana to BFA Banana: Spring Tension banana connectors designed for 360-degree contact.
-
Spade to Spade: Spring Tension spade lugs that maintain contact pressure when tightened.
-
Banana to Spade: Mixed termination for compatible binding-post arrangements.
The connector design maintains mechanical tension against the loudspeaker terminals to promote a stable electrical connection.
Upgrade Factory Speaker Terminal Jumpers
Many premium loudspeakers feature separate binding posts for their high-frequency and low-frequency crossover sections. When using a single-wire speaker cable, these terminals must remain electrically connected.
Clarus Aqua MKII jumpers replace conventional metal bridging plates with purpose-built copper cable assemblies, offering an alternative connection that matches the engineering approach of premium speaker cables.
They are intended for bi-wire-capable loudspeakers operated with a single-wire speaker cable, not as a replacement for full-length speaker cables.
