AudioQuest Rocket 88 Full-Range sits at the top of the Rocket Series and introduces one of the most important technologies in AudioQuest’s higher-performance cables: the patented 72V Dielectric-Bias System (DBS).

Rocket 88 combines Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors, Double Star-Quad Geometry, Carbon-Based Noise Dissipation, Direction-Controlled conductors, and 72V DBS to minimize distortion and RF noise between your amplifier and loudspeakers.

100% Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+)

Rocket 88 takes another significant step beyond Rocket 44 by using Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) throughout its conductor system.

PSC+ is AudioQuest’s highest-quality copper. Its extreme purity and exceptionally smooth surface are designed to minimize distortion caused by grain boundaries and surface irregularities in conventional copper conductors.

Rocket 88 also uses solid conductors, eliminating electrical strand-to-strand interaction—a major source of dynamic distortion in conventional stranded cable designs.

72V Dielectric-Bias System (DBS)

One of Rocket 88’s defining technologies is AudioQuest’s patented 72V Dielectric-Bias System.

Insulation surrounding a conductor can absorb and store energy, potentially releasing it back into the signal with a time delay. AudioQuest’s DBS places a continuous 72-volt DC bias across the cable’s insulation, keeping the dielectric polarized.
