AudioQuest Rocket 44 Full-Range moves beyond Rocket 33 with an upgraded conductor blend of Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) and Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC). Combined with Double Star-Quad Geometry, Carbon-Based Noise Dissipation, Foamed-Polyethylene insulation, and Direction-Controlled conductors, Rocket 44 is engineered for greater clarity, dimensionality, and lower distortion in high-performance music systems.

Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ & Perfect-Surface Copper

The defining upgrade in Rocket 44 is its combination of Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) and Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC).

AudioQuest's exceptionally smooth and pure Perfect-Surface conductor metals are designed to minimize distortion and harshness compared with conventional copper. The extremely high-purity PSC+ further reduces distortion associated with grain boundaries within the conductor.

Rocket 44 also uses solid conductors, eliminating electrical strand-to-strand interaction entirely—one of the distortion mechanisms AudioQuest specifically targets in its higher-performance cable designs.

Double Star-Quad Geometry

Rocket 44 employs AudioQuest's Double Star-Quad Geometry.

The physical relationship between conductors determines fundamental electrical characteristics including capacitance and inductance. AudioQuest uses its Star-Quad arrangement to reduce distortion compared with conductors running in parallel or as conventional twisted pairs.

The goal is simple: preserve more of the amplifier's original signal as it reaches the loudspeaker.

Carbon-Based Noise Dissipation

Rocket 44 incorporates a Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation System to reduce radio-frequency interference.

Its negative conductors are covered with partially conductive Carbon-Loaded Polyethylene, helping prevent RF noise from being fed back into the amplifier. An additional carbon layer damps interaction between positive and negative conductors, while an external Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation layer further reduces interference entering the cable.

Reducing this RF contamination is intended to produce greater clarity and dimensionality with less background "hash."

Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation

Insulation can influence cable performance because solid dielectric materials absorb energy from the electrical field surrounding a conductor and can release some of that stored energy later as distortion.

Rocket 44 uses air-filled Foamed-Polyethylene insulation around its conductors. Air absorbs very little energy, while polyethylene has inherently low loss, allowing AudioQuest to minimize the out-of-focus effects associated with higher-loss dielectric materials.

Direction-Controlled Conductors

Rocket 44's conductors are Direction-Controlled as an integral part of AudioQuest's Noise-Dissipation technology.

AudioQuest controls conductor orientation so induced RF noise is dissipated and drained in the intended direction, reducing its influence on sensitive audio circuitry.

SureGrip 500 Connectors
