Named after Seattle’s Evergreen Point Floating Bridge, Evergreen is designed around a simple goal: preserve more of the original signal while minimizing the distortion and high-frequency noise that can mask musical detail.

Solid Long-Grain Copper Conductors

Evergreen uses Solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors instead of conventional stranded wire. Solid conductors eliminate strand interaction, while AudioQuest's higher-purity LGC contains fewer oxides, impurities, and grain boundaries than standard OFHC copper. The result is a smoother electrical path designed to reduce distortion and preserve clarity.

Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation

Radio-frequency interference can enter an audio system through its interconnects and ultimately affect the system's ground reference. Evergreen incorporates Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation, which absorbs and reflects much of this RF energy before it reaches the ground layer.

This additional noise management helps Evergreen maintain a cleaner background and preserve low-level musical information.

Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation

The conductors are surrounded by Foamed-Polyethylene (Foamed-PE) insulation. Because Foamed-PE contains a high percentage of air—and air absorbs very little energy—it reduces the energy storage and release that can contribute to timing errors and blurred detail.

The result is better preservation of dynamic contrasts, spatial information, and clarity.

Asymmetrical Double-Balanced Geometry

Evergreen uses AudioQuest's Asymmetrical Double-Balanced Geometry, specifically designed for single-ended RCA applications.

Rather than using the same path for both ground and shield, the design separates these functions. This provides lower ground impedance and is intended to produce cleaner, quieter, and more dynamic performance.

Cold-Welded, Gold-Plated RCA Terminations

Evergreen's RCA connectors are cold-welded rather than soldered. AudioQuest uses a high-pressure connection technique that eliminates solder from the signal connection, avoiding another potential source of distortion.

The connectors also feature gold-plated contact surfaces for reliable conductivity and resistance to corrosion.

Direction-Controlled Conductors

All of Evergreen's internal conductors are Direction-Controlled as part of AudioQuest's approach to reducing RF noise. Conductor orientation is controlled during manufacturing to help direct induced noise away from the most sensitive portions of the audio circuit.
