Kaleidescape

Q: I'm not sure what I need. Where do I start?

Call us at (713) 218-8120, email info@gridhifi.com , or visit the showroom. Our advisers will talk through your space, how you use it, and what you want to achieve — with no obligation. The showroom lets you hear systems before any decisions are made.

Movie Players & Servers

Kaleidescape is the reference movie platform for premium home theaters and private cinemas, delivering downloaded movies with lossless audio and reference-quality video without the compression and variability of conventional streaming.

The current Strato movie players support high-bitrate movie playback, Dolby Vision on current-generation models, and lossless immersive audio including Dolby Atmos and DTS. The flagship Strato K introduces Kaleidescape's 4K Cinematic format along with native 8K playback for the most advanced cinema systems.

For larger movie collections and whole-home entertainment, Terra Prime movie servers provide substantial local storage and allow multiple Strato players to access a centralized movie library throughout the home.

Kaleidescape at The Grid HiFi

At The Grid HiFi in Houston, Texas, we design and integrate Kaleidescape systems for premium home theaters and reference private cinemas, matching the player and server architecture with the projector, display, video processing, surround processor and complete cinema system.
