Overview
Transrotor ZET 1 Turntable
A Modern Classic. Built for a Lifetime of Vinyl.
The Transrotor ZET 1 brings together the visual elegance of polished acrylic and the mechanical precision of a substantial aluminum platter. Its sculptural design makes an immediate impression, but beneath the beautiful exterior lies a turntable engineered for serious analog playback.
A highly polished black acrylic chassis supports an approximately 10 kg aluminum platter, creating a substantial platform for retrieving music from your record collection. With support for two tonearms, an optional TMD bearing upgrade, and even a dual-motor configuration, the ZET 1 is designed to evolve alongside your HiFi system.
This is more than a turntable you purchase today. It's an analog foundation you can continue developing for years to come.
Ten Kilograms of Rotational Authority
At the heart of the ZET 1 is its substantial aluminum platter, weighing approximately 10 kg.
The platter's mass provides rotational inertia, helping maintain consistent rotation as the stylus follows the record groove. A black platter support complements the polished aluminum, while an included aluminum record weight helps secure the record during playback.
The combination of a substantial platter and carefully engineered bearing assembly provides the mechanical foundation for stable analog reproduction.
Black Acrylic. Polished Aluminum. Timeless Design.
The ZET 1's highly polished black acrylic chassis gives the turntable its distinctive appearance.
Transrotor has used acrylic in its turntable designs for decades, valuing both its precision-machining capabilities and its mechanical properties. Here, the material creates a striking contrast with the aluminum platter and metal components.
The result is a turntable that feels equally at home in a dedicated listening room or a beautifully designed living space.
Its appearance is unmistakably high-end without relying on unnecessary decoration.
Two Tonearms. More Ways to Enjoy Your Records.
One of the ZET 1's most appealing features is its ability to accommodate a second tonearm.
With the appropriate additional tonearm base, the turntable can be configured with two arms. This opens the door to using different cartridges for different records or comparing moving-magnet and moving-coil playback without repeatedly changing cartridges.
In a dual-tonearm configuration, the motor is relocated to a separate stand beside the turntable.
Transrotor offers separate tonearm bases for 9-inch and 12-inch configurations, allowing the system to be tailored to your preferred tonearms.
Upgrade to Transrotor Magnetic Drive Technology
The ZET 1 can be upgraded with Transrotor's TMD bearing system.
TMD, or Transrotor Magnetic Drive, introduces a magnetic coupling within the drive architecture. It is designed to reduce the direct transfer of unwanted mechanical energy to the platter while maintaining precise rotation.
For owners who want to develop their turntable over time, the optional TMD upgrade provides a way to enhance the existing ZET 1 rather than replace it.
The TMD upgrade is not compatible with the ZET 1's optional second-motor configuration, so the choice between these upgrade paths should be made when planning the system.
One Motor or Two? Your Choice.
For listeners interested in an alternative upgrade path, the ZET 1 can be configured with two motors.
The dual-motor arrangement requires the appropriate motor base, additional motor, long-belt kit, and Konstant M-2 Reference power supply.
This configuration offers another way to develop the ZET 1's drive system, although it cannot be combined with the optional TMD bearing upgrade.
A dedicated ZET 1 rack is also available for customers who want a purpose-built foundation for the turntable and associated electronics.

Configure Your Transrotor ZET 1
The ZET 1 is a configurable analog platform. Choose a compatible power supply, tonearm, and cartridge to create a system suited to your listening preferences.
Additional options include a second tonearm, a dedicated rack, a dust cover, and your choice of TMD bearing or dual-motor upgrades.
Important: The U.S. distributor's base price is for the deck only. A power supply, tonearm, and cartridge must be selected separately for a complete playback system.
