The Synergistic Research Galileo LUX AC Power Cable combines 6N pure-silver conductors, a DC-biased silver ribbon laminate and third-generation UEF Active Shielding in a reference-grade power cord designed for high-performance audio systems. Drawing on technologies developed for the flagship SRX XL series, Galileo LUX introduces a dual-geometry conductor architecture that brings together high-current silver conductors and air-dielectric Silver AirStrings.

Its distinctive construction incorporates four high-current silver conductors of two different gauges, two monocrystalline Silver AirStrings and two pure-silver ribbon AirStrings. A DC-biased ribbon laminate functions as a flexible electromagnetic cell, while a graphene-based UEF Matrix Shield and copper-mesh Ground Plane form part of the cable's noise-management architecture.

Interchangeable Master and Gold tuning modules allow listeners to tailor the cable's presentation to their equipment and preferences. Handcrafted in California, Galileo LUX is intended for demanding audio components, including power amplifiers, preamplifiers, DACs and compatible high-end power conditioners.

Dual-Geometry Pure Silver Construction

Galileo LUX uses eight individual power-cable geometries, combining different conductor gauges and shapes within one AC cord.

Four high-current conductors use 99.9999% pure silver: two 14 AWG conductors and two 18 AWG conductors. These are complemented by two monocrystalline Silver AirStrings and two pure-silver ribbon AirStrings. Each uses a sealed PTFE air dielectric.

The silver ribbon laminate incorporates a dedicated DC-bias layer, with separate positive and neutral silver ribbons. This arrangement creates a flexible electromagnetic cell based on Synergistic Research's patented technology. The manufacturer designed it to manage the electromagnetic field surrounding the conductors and direct unwanted high-frequency interference toward ground.

By combining solid-silver conductors, silver ribbons and air-dielectric geometries, Galileo LUX takes a different approach from conventional power cords built around a single conductor type. Synergistic Research describes its intended sonic character as a balance of tonal richness, low-level detail and clarity.

Third-Generation UEF Active Shielding

Galileo LUX incorporates a graphene-based UEF Matrix Shield derived from Synergistic Research's SRX XL development program. The shielding system includes an active electromagnetic cell, a Swiss-made power supply, SR Quantum Capacitors and point-to-point wiring.

A pure-copper mesh Ground Plane provides an additional element of the cable's shielding architecture, with a published area of 36 square inches per six-foot length.

The manufacturer also applies its proprietary high-voltage conditioning process to the completed cable. Synergistic Research states that these technologies are intended to reduce unwanted electromagnetic interference and refine the cable's electrical behavior.

Master and Gold Tuning Modules

Galileo LUX includes Synergistic Research's interchangeable tuning technology, allowing owners to experiment with two manufacturer-defined presentations.

Master Tuning Module: Designed to emphasize perceived air, detail, precision and linearity.

Gold Tuning Module: Intended to balance warmth and smoothness with air and detail.

The modules influence the cable's electromagnetic environment rather than being inserted into its AC conductor path. Their purpose is to provide a degree of system-specific adjustment without replacing the power cable.
