The Synergistic Research Foundation SX 10 AWG High Current AC Power Cable is built for demanding audio systems, combining heavy-gauge copper conductors with pure-silver AirString technology and SRX-derived electromagnetic treatments. Its three 10 AWG SR Copper conductors make it the high-current version of the Foundation SX power cable, intended for compatible power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers and AC power conditioners.

Two handcrafted 99.9995% pure-silver AirStrings complement the copper conductors, introducing the air-dielectric geometry used throughout Synergistic Research's premium cable ranges. Graphene-based UEF treatment, carbon-fiber tuning discs and SRX Long Duration High Voltage Conditioning complete the design.

Foundation SX High Current is designed for customers who need a heavier conductor gauge while retaining the construction and tuning technologies of the Foundation SX series. It is handcrafted in California and available with regional wall-plug configurations.

10 AWG Copper and Pure-Silver Conductor Geometry

The Foundation SX High Current uses three 10 AWG SR Copper conductors insulated with EPDM. Compared with the regular Foundation SX's 12 AWG construction, the larger conductors provide a lower-resistance path for AC power over an equivalent cable length.

Two separate pure-silver AirStrings use sealed air-dielectric construction. Synergistic Research combines these geometries to achieve the electrical characteristics and sonic presentation intended for the Foundation series.

This heavier-gauge version is particularly relevant to owners of high-powered amplifiers and compatible power-conditioning equipment. It can also be used with other appropriately rated audio components where a 10 AWG power cable is preferred.

The appropriate connector and current rating must match the connected component and electrical supply.

Graphene UEF Treatment and SRX Conditioning

Foundation SX High Current incorporates the graphene-based UEF compound developed during Synergistic Research's SRX cable program. The treatment is applied directly to the connectors as part of the company's approach to managing unwanted electrical noise.

After assembly, the cable undergoes the SRX Long Duration High Voltage Conditioning process, which uses extended frequency sweeps and proprietary high-voltage treatment.

Synergistic Research also applies secondary UEF Blue Treatment and includes Gold and Purple carbon-fiber tuning discs. The manufacturer developed these accessories to allow listeners to experiment with different perceived tonal and spatial presentations.

The cable is terminated with a Synergistic Research C07 pure-copper wall connector and G07 Gold IEC connector, using 4% silver solder during assembly.
