The Ortofon 2M Bronze is a high-performance moving magnet (MM) phono cartridge engineered to extract greater detail from your record collection. Its Nude Fine Line diamond stylus features a slim profile designed to trace high-frequency groove information with precision.
A dedicated cartridge engine featuring split pole pins and silver-plated oxygen-free copper (OFC) coil wire distinguishes the Bronze from the Red and Blue models. With 5 mV output and standard ½-inch mounting, it integrates into a wide range of high-end turntable systems.

Stylus Replacement & Upgrade Options
The 2M Bronze features a user-replaceable stylus. The standard replacement is the Ortofon Stylus 2M Bronze, allowing you to retain the cartridge body when the stylus needs replacing.
The Bronze cartridge body also supports an upgrade to the 2M Black stylus, which uses a Shibata diamond profile.
Turntable & Phono Stage Compatibility
The standard 2M Bronze uses ½-inch mounting and requires a compatible tonearm and moving magnet phono input.
Ortofon also offers separate mounting configurations:

2M Bronze Premounted: Installed on an SH-4 headshell for compatible S-shaped tonearms.

2M Bronze Verso: Designed for bottom-mount headshells.

2MR Bronze: Low-profile housing for turntables and tonearms such as certain Rega models.

Do you price match?

Where is your showroom?
We're at 6362 Alder Drive, Houston, Texas. The showroom lets you hear and compare reference-level systems in person before making any decisions. If you're considering a larger purchase or installation, it's well worth the visit.
Can I buy online without visiting the showroom?
Yes. The full product range is available through the online store with free nationwide shipping. For more complex system builds, speaking with one of our advisers first tends to lead to a better result.
Do you offer financing?
