The third-generation Bluesound POWERNODE N331 brings together a high-performance integrated amplifier, network music streamer and flexible home entertainment hub. Delivering 100 watts per channel in stereo or 80 watts across three channels, it can power a traditional two-channel HiFi system or a front left, center and right speaker arrangement without a separate AV receiver.

Built around Bluesound's DirectDigital amplification platform and BluOS multi-room streaming, the POWERNODE combines high-resolution music playback with HDMI eARC, Dolby Digital support, wireless surround capabilities and extensive smart-home integration. Its compact design makes it equally suitable for a dedicated listening space, living room entertainment system or whole-home audio installation.

DirectDigital Amplification with Three-Channel Flexibility

The POWERNODE N331 features Bluesound's DirectDigital amplification technology, delivering 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms in stereo mode. For systems incorporating a dedicated center speaker, it can be configured to deliver 80 watts to each of three front channels.

This flexibility makes it possible to begin with a conventional stereo system and expand to a front left, center and right speaker configuration as your entertainment needs evolve.

With an IHF dynamic power rating of 265 watts into 4 ohms and 140 watts into 8 ohms, the POWERNODE is designed to deliver the dynamic range needed for both music and movie playback.

BluOS High-Resolution Music Streaming

BluOS provides access to more than 20 music streaming services, internet radio and personal music libraries through a unified control platform.

The POWERNODE supports high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/192kHz, along with DSD256 playback and popular lossless formats including FLAC, ALAC, WAV and AIFF. Its streaming capabilities include Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect and Roon Ready integration.

The BluOS Controller app allows you to browse music, manage playback, group compatible Bluesound components and create independent listening zones throughout the home.

The POWERNODE connects directly to a compatible television through HDMI eARC, allowing TV audio to play through a high-performance speaker system.

Its support for Dolby Digital and Bluesound's wireless surround technology makes it possible to build a compact home theater without a conventional multichannel AV receiver. With three-channel amplification, it can directly power front left, center and right speakers, while compatible wireless Bluesound speakers can be added for surround sound.

A dedicated RCA subwoofer output provides a connection for a powered subwoofer, and the POWERNODE also supports wireless integration with the Bluesound PULSE SUB+.

This combination offers an alternative to a soundbar for customers who prefer separate loudspeakers and a system that can grow over time.

Flexible Analog, Digital and USB Connectivity

The POWERNODE N331 offers an extensive selection of inputs for integrating both modern and traditional audio sources.

Dual-band Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet provide network connectivity, while two-way Bluetooth allows the POWERNODE to receive audio from compatible devices or transmit audio to supported wireless headphones.

For private listening, a dedicated 6.3mm headphone output incorporates THX AAA technology for low-distortion headphone amplification.
