AudioQuest Rocket 44 Single-BiWire is designed for high-performance loudspeakers with separate high- and low-frequency binding posts. Double Star-Quad Geometry

Rocket 44 employs AudioQuest's Double Star-Quad Geometry.

The physical relationship between conductors determines fundamental electrical characteristics such as capacitance and inductance. AudioQuest uses its Star-Quad arrangement to reduce distortion compared with conventional parallel conductors and twisted-pair geometries.

Carbon-Based Noise Dissipation

Rocket 44 incorporates a Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation System to address radio-frequency interference.

The cable's negative conductors are covered with partially conductive Carbon-Loaded Polyethylene, reducing RF noise being fed back into the amplifier. An additional carbon layer damps interaction between positive and negative conductors, while an external Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation System helps reduce interference entering from outside the cable.

The result is designed to reduce background "hash" while improving clarity and dimensionality.

Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation

Cable insulation can absorb energy from the electrical field surrounding a conductor and release some of that energy later as distortion.

Rocket 44 uses air-filled Foamed-Polyethylene insulation around both conductors. Because air absorbs very little energy and polyethylene is inherently low-loss, this construction minimizes dielectric-related distortion and the out-of-focus character associated with higher-loss insulation materials.

Direction-Controlled Conductors

All Rocket 44 conductors are Direction-Controlled as part of AudioQuest's Noise-Dissipation technology.

AudioQuest controls conductor orientation to ensure induced RF noise is dissipated and drained in the intended direction, reducing its influence on the audio signal.
